Belly Laughs and Baby Pterodactyl

All is well here.  The girls have been their usual crazy selves, and here are a few videos to prove it.  The first one is just me being silly with Myla.  I have no real excuse for her raggedy, topless appearance other than I probably took her shirt off while she was eating something.  And she's wearing pajama bottoms in the middle of the afternoon.  Mother of the year, I tell ya.
You know how you venture out with a new baby always thinking, "I hope she doesn't get upset in the restaurant" or something to that effect?  Well, not me.  I spend more time thinking, "I hope she hangs around in some emotional state comfortably between hysterically angry and happy pterodactyl."  This video shows you part of the background noise of every morning in our home.  Piper + Local2 News.  I mean who doesn't love Anthony Yanez and Jennifer Reyna?  Really.

The Littlest Longhorns

Everyone knows you have to raise your kids to love your team from a young age.  That's why we go ahead and get Bevo tattooed onto their butt cheeks right after they're born.*

Anyway, the Horns actually played a game on a normal tv station!  We packed it up and went to my sister's house, where we ate way too much fried food and tuckered out before the first half ended.  Oh well, at least they're cute, right (even if Piper does look like a little boy here)?

Hook 'em Horns-- start 'em young.
 Nana love.
And check out my enthusiastic husband!

*Don't call CPS; our children don't really have tattoos.  They just have their belly buttons pierced.

Leave it to the Professionals

Have you met Lindley?  Well, I have.  She's a pretty cool lady, and she took some family photos for us.  We have maybe one photo of our whole family together since we added another kiddo.  Sometimes you have to suck it up and realize that if you take your own photos, they will probably end up looking like this:

Lindley to the rescue!  She had her work cut out for her too, because we might be some of the most awkward people in front of a camera.  Here are just a few of the pics from our shoot.

A miracle occurred: Myla actually wore a bow in her hair.  I think it's because Piper had one.

One of my faves.  Apparently, modelling is exhausting for Piper!
This pretty much describes their relationship.

Why yes, we did just stack our children up here.  It's a real space saver.
Piper is bummed that we didn't give her a straw.
Dave, while taking this photo: "This is the most akward thing we've ever done."
Nevermind watching me have those babies or anything...
We are thankful for the good shots, but sometimes, life with kids looks a little more like this:
