The Poopers are coming to the USA!

This is stolen from Sharla's facebook status: "From our adoption agency: Call me and get to Haiti tomorrow and your visas are ready!!!!!!"

The poopers = los tweems.  These are the boys I nannied in the DR.  Their adoption process has taken roughly 57 years, and due to the post-earthquake humanitarian parole of families already in the process of Haitian adoption, they are finally coming here with their mama!  (Please note that this does not mean that I in any way am happy that the earthquake traumatized the nation of Haiti.  It just so happens that this has been a positive result spurring from a negative event).

In celebration of this event, I leave you with this video which features two things:
*  Jakob's "Wha dooding?" (which he is probably too old to say now!)
*  Isaak's passionate relationship with food.

Needs Practice

As soon as we got back from Italy, I started feverishly trying to complete all of the tasks I had to do in order to become Mrs. Livingston (name changes, etc.).

By day 3 at home, I made my way over to the DPS for a new license.  It actually went much quicker than I anticipated, and it only took 40 minutes to get through the 7 people in front of me... Anyway, I did the stuff, got the picture, and had to make a temporary license until my new one comes in the mail.  Problem: I haven't really practiced signing my new name, and "Livingston" is slightly longer and loopier than "Kemp."  I think I did pretty well on the signature for the real license, but this is how the temporary one turned out:

If you can't tell, I panicked and accidentally skipped an entire letter "i," but then still put a dot there to try and cover the mistake.  At the end of it all, it looks a little more like "Livngstan" than "Livingston."  Whoopsies.
