I've Been Slacking on Tuesdays...

So, I have missed a couple of ToTs.  I have also written a few posts in my head which have never come to fruition (yet).  I've been gone so long that Blogger got a new scary template!  AND Mother of the Year Moment: I am letting my kid sit like a zombie in front of the Backyardigans to do this post.  Oh well.

Go here to link up!  Mrs. Rootsandrings wrote the questions all by her lonesome this time.

1. Would you rather give up pedicures or flat/curling irons?   This one is easy for me.  I think I used a flat iron a couple of times in high school, and that's it.  I have pretty low hair standards.  I have been too lazy to even dry my hair all the way lately (Note: "lately" = 3 years or so).  I wish I could say this bothers me, but I can't really see my own hair, so I'll just apologize now to the general public.  I love me some pedicures.

2. Does your middle name have a family meaning?
Nope.  My parents just liked it.

3. Do you like to sneeze?
Yes!  In fact, I hate when I have a halfway sneeze.  I need some closure in my life.  Dave is the opposite.  He thinks sneezing is physically painful.  Weirdo.

4. Do you think kids should need to learn cursive?
I have never thought about this in my life.  I will say though, that since everything is becoming digital, it's hard to expect kids to learn and excel at writing in script.  By the time they are getting the hang of it, they aren't really required to use it anymore.  In conclusion, I don't know the best answer to this.

5. When you go to the beach for the day, what do you take?
Wow. 3 years ago when I was single and childless, this answer would have been: an ipod and a towel.  Traveling with my family now involves packing everything but the kitchen sink. We definitely have to travel with: snacks for Dave and Myla, sunscreen, towels, at least 3 water bottles, diapers, swim diapers, change of clothes, hats, etc.

6. Which decade had the best music?
Duh.  The decade with 'N SYNC.

7. Are you a good hand-shaker?
Probably not.  But I hope I'm not a completely limp noodle.

8. Do you have a go-to meal for when you are at a restaurant and you can’t decide?
Not sure.  Chicken tenders?  I know.  I'm twelve.

9. Do you have slippers?
Oh yes.  They are totally grannyish, too.  I'll be bringing them to the hospital to have this kiddo.

10. Are you easily grossed out?
Yes and no.  I'm not really a huge fan of bugs or getting my hands dirty.  BUT, I have no problem watching surgeries and stuff like that...
