It's Still Tuesday!

Provided by her!  Head on over there to link up!

1. How do you feel about April Fool’s Day?  I feel the same as I do about any other day.  I'm not much of a prankster.  Boring, I know.

2. Do you like birds?
No.  They're ok to look at for a little while, but I would never get one as a pet.  They're too tweety!

3. How often do you wear your hair in a ponytail?
Hmm, currently about twice a week (or almost all the time when I'm at home for the evening).  I am much better about wearing my hair down when it's really short, but then there's the conundrum of husbands liking long hair.  And by husbands I mean mine.

4. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Yes and no.  I don't believe in romantic love at first sight, but I loved my Myla at first sight.  I mean, second sight.  First sight was more like, "She's so tiny!" and "What am I going to do with her?!"

5. What is your favorite appetizer?  I'll give you one guess.

6. What is your favorite brand of heels?
I don't have a favorite, but I like cheap shoes in general.  The heels that have lasted me the longest are some old Target black pumps.  Since I've been pregnant for two years, I haven't exactly been purchasing cute heels.

7. Are you a picky eater?  I used to be a very picky eater, but now I think I've improved a lot.  Veggies don't scare me like they used to, but I still have a few food preferences.  The only weird things I can think of at the moment are:
     -  I prefer not to eat warm, cooked fruit.  This includes pies, jams, cobblers, etc.
     -  I have never tasted cottage cheese, but can't bring myself to because it looks like cellulite.
     -  I don't like fruits on salad.  (occasional exception = dried cranberries)
     -  I don't like food genres to be mixed.  For example, I don't want to try a recipe for "mexi-pasta" or something like that.  Pasta stays Italian, and Tex-mex stays Tex-mex.  Possible exceptions: Asian fusion.
    -  I don't eat hot dogs.  I had a bad experience.
    -  If I go any further, people might think I'm picky.  And I'm not!  (Am I)?

8. Is there a tv show you like that nobody ever talks about?
Dave and I stream some shows that I'm sure most people don't watch.  When we need something light, a "filler" if you will, we have been watching Parking Wars or Jacked.  Neither of them are award-winners, but there is nothing like an angry Philadelphian or a good car theft to fill your evening.

9. Do you prefer hot tea or cold tea?  Cold.  In the past year or so, I've abandoned my Southern roots by switching to unsweet iced tea.  Dave makes up for it by ordering sweet, girly teas like huckleberry.

10. Gayle or Peeta? (If you don’t know how to answer, read The Hunger Games.)  Peeta all the way.  The first book made it seem difficult, but as time goes on, it becomes clear.  Too bad the movie Gale is pretty dang attractive.  Luckily, his attractiveness lowers for me just because he's dating Miley Cyrus in real life.  Sorry, Dad.  I know you have a man crush on Billy Ray.

  1. QUESO! QUESO! QUESO! It's queso, right? Because I totally guess queso. If it isn't queso, then I don't even know who you are anymore. ~Ally
    P.S. I want queso.

  2. I totally forgot about your aversion to cooked fruit. You're so weird.
