Piper @ Two Months

It's time for another mandatory baby-stat post!  Well, actually it was time about a week ago, but I'm a little bit behind schedule.  With the blog I don't run the risk of losing a fancy baby book.  The internets are forever.

Piper Joy

 

Height: 22.5 inches (50%)

Weight: 11 pounds, 14 ounces (75%)

Head: 15 5/8 inches (50-75%)

Shots were no fun for the poor kid, but she acted totally normal afterward-- no residual grumpiness or anything.  I think I am getting better at holding the screaming baby at the doctor's office, though.  I hate shots myself.  I was driving home thinking "At least I didn't have to get any shots."  That probably means I don't really love my child or need therapy or something.  I am also the person who birthed a child one day then yelled at Dave the next for trying to rip a bandaid off my arm.  It was going to hurt!

I thought Piper seemed bigger than Myla, and I was right.  Myla never had baby thunder thighs until recently.  Piper has an extra chin for insulation.  It's pretty cute, but I have to remind myself to clean under all those rolls!

We are going on week #2 of the girlies sleeping in the same room.  I think it's going pretty great!  (Not counting the last 3 nights where Myla has decided to wake up at 5:30).  I usually just put the little to bed around 6:30 so she falls asleep before Myla goes down between 7:00 and 7:30. 

Piper is not quite ready for this toy, but Myla is totally ready for So You Think You Can Dance.
