So, Davers and I have been reading Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. It seems a little bit (well, a lot) scary, but we are starting to do the baby steps. We are pretty much on step #2: the debt snowball.
This also means that we officially cut up ALL our credit cards. And neither of us have had a panic attack yet!
I know, I know, Dave Ramsey is not the financial God, and we are not mindlessly becoming his disciples. But, we are ready to take an aggressive approach to pay off student loans and live with good financial principles like... spending money we actually have!
