Baby #2 is a...

... stubborn little BooBoo.

That's right, our little Modest Molly (or Moe) chose not to show our doctor the goods at our appointment on Tuesday.  Dave and I even formulated a plan where the doctor would tell us to look away from the screen at game time and then write down whether baby is a boy or girl in a card we bought.  Then, we were going to give the card to my sister, who would read it and buy a little boy or girl present for me to open on my birthday in a few weeks.  Cool surprise, huh?

Even though it took this little blip to encourage us, Dave and I decided to roll with it.  If our baby wants to surprise us, we're going to wait it out the full 40 weeks.  We will only have one more ultrasound, so it's basically one more time we have to say "don't tell us!"

Now, this certainly goes against the part of me that is a compulsive planner.  But I am choosing to push aside the random thoughts running through my head, like "what are we going to do about painting the room?!" at this point.  We are also waiting until Boo comes into the world to announce/pick a name.  This is old school.  Like, 1980's old school.

We can't wait to meet you, little Boo!  And I'll try not to call you an "it" too often...  But no promises.
